Orientation Program in BBA, BCA, MBA& MCA at Maharana Pratap Group of Institutions

Kanpur: Maharana Pratap Group of Institutions welcomed the students of Business Administration and Computer Applications in its Orientation Session. Guest of honour Shri Amit Kumar, (Deputy Director) Indian Trade Service, DGFT, Kanpur, asked the students to take inspiration from the life of Maharana Pratap, he emphasized that the warrior struggled a lot in his life and even survived by eating grass bread but never deviated from his duty towards his motherland. In the same way, the students should never be dissuaded from the challenge, be it big or small. While discussing India’s growing position in the world, he said that today India’s growth rate is 13.5%  that of the world’s largest economies at the time when the growth rates of many developed countries are negative. Recently, India has overtaken the UK economy to become the fifth-largest economy. Our Prime Minister has taken many big steps in the economic field to encourage the country’s economy and they are benefiting the country today, every Indian is looking forward to the dream of a developed India. Target has been set to make the country a 5 trillion dollar economy by 2025.

The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp and garlanding the picture of Mother Saraswati as per the tradition of the institute. In her welcome address, Ms.Kamini Singh gave an insight in to the rules of the college, discipline, study, teaching methodology and placements, and holistic development of students.

The Joint Secretary of the group, Mr. Gaurav Bhadauria, in his address said that today’s era is of management and technology, the credit goes to both of them, and India’s engineers are waving their flag in ‘Silicon Valley’. On the other hand, Indian managers are adorning the top positions of various multinational companies.

Mr. Y.S.Garg (Advisor, FIEO) explained the importance of discipline to the students. He said that discipline is the first step to success for students. Without discipline in life, no goal can be achieved. Continuous hard work is also required for success. With this, we can achieve continuous success in life.

Dr. Mamta Shukla, Principal of MPCPS, Kanpur, welcomed all the students, she said that the Institute is focused on developing the technical skills of students as well as making them good human beings so that they can add value to the society. She said, “We are committed to your all-round development and hope that like our alumni, you will illuminate the name of the institute in studies, in sports, and placements”

Shri DD Singh (Director Administration) discussed the personality development, technical development, and overall development of the students. He said that today’s era is the era of competition, here we do not get success on average performance, we should strive for our all-round development, he told the students that knowledge Learning and its application is an art.

Dr. Mayank Tripathi gave detailed information about the group to the new students. Describing the group he discussed the resources available and infused enthusiasm in the students.  Towards the end of the session, a vote of Thanks was presented by Mr. Mayank Shukla (Head of the Department, BCA, and MCA), he thanked the dignitaries, teachers, students, employees, and media brothers for making the program successful. Shri DD Singh (Director Administration) Shri YS Garg (Advisor DGFT) Shri Alok Shrivastava Shri Rakesh Kumar Dr. Swati Saxena etc. were present in the program.
