Our government will ensure TB is eradicated from the state by 2025 – Brajesh Pathak

Lucknow: UP Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has said that efforts are being made to eradicate TB from the state by the year 2025. Tuberculosis patients will be adopted by MLAs, MPs, ministers and officials and institutions. Better health of the people of the state is our priority. The Yogi government made excellent management of Corona and for this the state got worldwide applause.

Brajesh Pathak said these things while talking to reporters at the state headquarters of BJP. He said that the result of excellent management of Yogi government is that today the cases of corona in the state are almost nil. Today all 75 districts have BSL-2 labs for RTPCR test. So far 10 crore 94 lakh corona tests have been done in the state. There are less than 300 active cases left.

12 lakh people got the benefit of Ayushman Yojana

He said that the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana is proving to be very beneficial for the poor people. There are 1.18 crore eligible families under this scheme. Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana is being run for other poor families. So far, a total of 1.80 crore Ayushman cards have been distributed under both the schemes. So far 12 lakh people have benefited from these two schemes. 1200 crores have been spent in this.

Communicable diseases will be eradicated by 2030

The government is also making efforts to eliminate communicable diseases. Work is being done to make the state free from malaria by 2030. Communicable disease control campaign has been started. Under this, efforts are being made to control diseases like JE, Malaria, Dengue, Chikungunya etc. For this, a Dastak campaign will be run from April 15 to 30.

Treat patients as god

He said that the government is committed to provide affordable and accessible health facilities to the people at the earliest. For this health and wellness centers are being run and health fairs are being organized. The Deputy CM appealed that the doctors should treat the patients as God and serve them. State media in-charge Manish Dixit, spokesperson Avnish Tyagi, co-media in-charge Himanshu Dubey were present on this occasion.
