Paying homage Governor Anandiben Patel says recalling the Kakori episode helps inculcate good culture

Lucknow: Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid homage to the brave martyrs at Kakori Martyrs Memorial Lucknow on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Kakori episode in the series of celebrations of Amrit Mahotsav and Chauri-Chaura Centenary Festival. On this occasion, the families of the martyrs of freedom struggle were honored and visited the mural exhibition, a picture exhibition based on the freedom struggle.

On this occasion, Governor Anandiben Patel said that we should remember our history and remind our generation of such incidents so that they can become cultured. She said that it is a matter of pride for me to be a witness to this historic event of today, it is a memorable moment for me.

She said that while studying in childhood, we had read the freedom struggle, I feel proud to be present here today. The Governor said that mothers used to feel proud when their son was martyred for the freedom of the country. The Governor said that the feeling of patriotism is gradually decreasing in our society, it is very serious.

This is the reason why the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi is being celebrated under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Yogi Adityanath. We all should work for the development of the country by rising above caste, religion. Today, arrangements have to be made for education, health and clean drinking water for all in the country.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that this nectar festival of freedom is inspiring us. Inauguration from Chauri-Chaura and this year-long Amrit Mahotsav, we salute the immortal fighters who were martyred in the freedom movement. The Amrit Festival of Independence is a festival of new ideas, resolutions and self-reliance. Today this event at Kakori Martyrs Memorial is dedicated to freedom fighters, revolutionaries and soldiers. My salute to such immortal martyrs, whose sacrifices have protected our borders along with the freedom of the country. He said that the country never bowed before the British rule. The revolution of 1857 shook the foundation of the British. All the incidents of revolutionaries remind us that we should unite, rise above caste religion and join the nation religion and make the dream of a self-reliant India come true.

Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna, Law and Justice Minister Brajesh Pathak, Urban Development Minister Ashutosh Tandon, Irrigation and Jal Shakti Minister Mahendra Singh, Minister of State for Culture and Tourism Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari, Legislative Council Member Swatantra Dev Singh were present on the occasion.
