People with a heart condition need special care during harsh winters – Brajesh Pathak

Lucknow: In view of the increasing cold in the state, proper arrangements should be made for treatment in the hospitals. Especially in the treatment of patients suffering from heart disease, any kind of negligence will not go unpunished.

The arrangements for the treatment of heart disease patients should be improved further in the capital Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Ayodhya and other districts.

If necessary, increase the number of beds in hospitals. Apart from this, also fix the stock of medicines.  Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak gave these guidelines to the officers of all government hospitals and medical institutions.

In fact, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that the number of heart disease patients increases in cold weather. Arrangements have been made to provide complete treatment to these patients. Increase the number of fleets according to the capacity. He said  that emergency should be operated 24 hours. Apart from this, tests like pathology, ECG and echo should be done for all the needy patients. The Deputy CM said that most of the doctors were sitting in the OPD of the Cardiology Department. Patients coming to OPD should get proper treatment.
