Plans afoot to connect Amausi T3 with Lucknow Metro

Lucknow: The exercise to connect Lucknow Metro with Terminal-3 built at the airport has started. UP Metro Rail Corporation has prepared a proposal for this. After on-the-spot inspection of the Additional Chief Secretary, has agreed to this proposal from his level. Now the further process is being completed.

New terminal number-3 is being prepared at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (Amausi Airport) in Lucknow. This terminal is about 200 meters away from Lucknow Metro Station. In such a situation, it is being said that there will be a lot of inconvenience for the passengers to come here. In view of this, the Yogi Adityanath government had directed to prepare a proposal to connect the terminal with the metro station.

After this, Additional Chief Secretary Housing Nitin Ramesh Gokarn himself inspected the place, so that the situation on the ground could be understood. Its detailed survey was done. After this, now two types of options have been prepared to connect the terminal with the metro. One option proposes an elevated corridor, while the other suggests connecting it underground. Officials of Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation have also held a meeting in this regard.
