Plans afoot to have State Capital region in U.P. on lines of NCR

Lucknow: Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, gave a directive  to create a thorough plan for creating a “State Capital Region” (SCR) modelled after the National Capital Region within two weeks, according to authorities.

While discussing different development initiatives being carried out in Ayodhya and Varanasi with the relevant ministries and top officials present, the chief minister delivered the instructions.

In order to increase Lucknow’s potential as a capital for a balanced development of the surrounding areas, the projected SCR is to be constructed by combining Lucknow and neighbouring districts, according to the government.

Now, Lucknow is being transformed into a metropolitan metropolis with cutting-edge urban amenities. Individuals wish to live here permanently and come from various places.

In addition, the adjacent areas are seeing an increase in population pressure, and concerns of uncontrolled construction are also being received. A thorough action plan for the SCR should be prepared and presented by authorities in two weeks, Adityanath said, adding that the establishment of the SCR would be beneficial in this circumstance from the perspective of coordinated development.

Moreover, he instructed to get in touch with each and every investor who attended the recent Global Investors Conference to learn about their requirements and expectations and to inform them of the advantages of the new laws and regulations.

“It should be verified that no investor-related file is left open needlessly. MoUs should be reviewed on a weekly basis by departments at the level of the industrial development commissioner. Inform the chief secretary of any issues you encounter right once, the CM said.
