Lucknow: Aiming to boost the health arsenal of the Hindi Heartland, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has plans to have a medical college in each of the 75 districts in the state. He pitched that plan to potential investors based in the US.
Speaking his heart out on healthcare, the CM pointed out that in 2017 when the BJP led government came to power, there were only 12 medical colleges in the state. Now thirty more are being constructed and the government plans to have one in each district. To further boost the paraphernalia, the government will soon introduce a new policy as per a state government statement.
Yogi said, “We will provide every facility. U.P. will do everything possible to realize the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of self-reliant India.” He was speaking at an event organized under the banner of Uttar Pradesh Association of North America (UPANA).
The CM has also highlighted construction of new roads, development of tourism, opportunities in the food processing industry, and ODOP program.
