Play on Bapu by Uttarakhand Mahaparishad garners massive applause

Lucknow: After successful staging of plays like Under Secretary, Garbage round, Bilayati fever, Destroyed college, Kashmir, Last one day, Vocal for local and Throne is empty by Uttarakhand Mahaparishad Lucknow in collaboration with Ministry of Culture, Uttarakhand General Council of Theater India.

In collaboration with the Government’s Ministry of Culture, New Delhi, on the occasion of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence and the 130th birth anniversary of Peshawar Kand hero Veer Chandra Garhwali  and 97th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Bajpayee ji, former Prime Minister of the country,  “Gandhi’s Crusade” was staged on Saturday at  Sangeet Natak Akademi, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, unlike the plays presented so far.

The play of Gandhi’s crusade was inaugurated by  Ashutosh Tandon. In which flowers and shawls were presented by the officers of the General Council, Mr. Diwan Singh Adhikari, Mr. Harish Chandra Pant, Mr. Bharat Singh Bisht, Mr. Mangal Singh Rawat and other officials.

This play based on Gandhi  is a satire on the society and leaders, satirizing today’s environment, in which Gandhi again comes to this earth and becomes sad with his eyes due to the plight of the society, but the leaders have to know about this. Can’t believe that Gandhi returned to this world again, but he tries to prove his selfishness through the form of Gandhi, but Gandhi is Gandhi, truth and non-violence, but in view of this system of today, his  change of heart ensues and a new Gandhi is envisioned, which points to a crusade against these ills. Based on the longing for power and politics, struggle for it, diplomacy, fight, quarrel etc. and giving a new lesson to humanity, this play was presented by the artists of the theater.

The President of Uttarakhand Mahaparishad,  Harish Chandra informed that on December 31, 21021, from 04:00 pm onwards, award distribution ceremony to the participating artists of Uttarakhand Mahotsav-2021 will be done at Uttarakhand Mahaparishad Bhawan, Kurmanchal Nagar, Lucknow.
