PM Modi, CM Yogi to headline 8th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog
New Delhi: The 8th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog is to be held in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also participate in this meeting. CM Yogi will list out the achievements of the state government in the fields of industrial investment, export, health, women empowerment. During this, PM Modi will also be present.
Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra will also accompany the CM to the Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog. The Chief Minister Yogi reviewed the preparations made for the Governing Council meeting.
Chief Minister Yogi will discuss the changes in the industrial scenario of the state with the investment received through the UP Global Investors Summit held in February in the Governing Council meeting. Apart from this, Yogi will also tell about the various activities being conducted under Mission Shakti in the direction of women empowerment.
He will also speak about the Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana being run by the state government for the purpose of women empowerment.
The state government has also made many innovations in the field of health and nutrition, which the Chief Minister will inform in this meeting.
In order to provide better health facilities to the citizens, the Chief Minister will also inform the Governing Council about the efforts being made to establish medical colleges in every district of the state.
There will also be a mention of the speed gained by the defense production sector through the Defense Corridor. He will also talk about the progress of PM Gati Shakti Yojana in the state and the efforts made to remove regulatory constraints in order to provide ease of doing business.
