PM Modi gifts special gifts to G7 heads of state to cherish India’s warmth for eternity

Munich/ Dubai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the G-7 Summit in Germany. From here the PM left for the United Arab Emirates. Here he will condole the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, former President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi.

PM Modi has thanked the people of Germany, Chancellor Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz and the German government. After the G-7 summit, he has presented several gifts to the heads of member states.

Nandi themed Dokra art presented to the President of Argentina

Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented Nandi-themed Dokra art from Chhattisgarh to Argentine President Alberto Fernandez. This particular work of art is a figure of Nandi – the meditative bull. According to Hindu mythology, Nandi is believed to be the vehicle of Lord Shiva, the god of destruction.

Ramayana themed Dokra art presented to the President of South Africa

PM Modi presented Ramayana themed Dokra art from Chhattisgarh to South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. Dokra art is non-ferrous metal casting, which uses the lost wax casting technique. Such metal castings have been used in India for more than 4,000 years.

Meenakari brooch and cufflink set from Varanasi presented to US President

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gifted a pink Meenakari brooch and cufflink set from Varanasi to US President Joe Biden. These cufflinks are designed for the President and matching brooch for the First Lady. Pink Meenakari is a GI-tag art.

Nizamabad’s Black Party Piece presented to the PM of Japan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi gifted Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida a Black Patri Piece from Nizamabad, Uttar Pradesh. Earthen pots use a special technique to bring out the dark colors, when the clay pots are inside the oven it is ensured that there is no room for oxygen to enter the oven and the heat level is high.

Hand painted tea set presented to UK PM

PM Modi gifted Platinum painted hand painted tea set to UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson from Bulandshahr in UP. The crockery was lined with platinum metal paint in honor of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee being celebrated this year. The embossed outline is laid out manually with the mehndi cone work.
