PM Modi to chair high priority meeting as Corona sees an upward trend globally

New Delhi: The central government has become alert regarding the increasing cases of corona in the world. In view of Corona, random sampling of foreign passengers has been started at the airport. Cases of Omicron’s sub-variants BF.7 and BF.12 have been found in India. Cases of sub-variants of Omicron have been reported in Gujarat and Odisha. There are four cases of BF-7 variant of Corona in India, out of which one case was found in July, two in September and one in November.

In the last 24 hours, 185 new cases of corona have been reported in the country while 1 person has died due to corona. With the arrival of 185 new cases, the number of active corona patients in the country has reached 3,402 while the total number of corona patients in the country has reached 4,46,76,515.

A total of 4,41,42,432 people have been cured of Corona in the country so far, while a total of 5,30,681 deaths have taken place due to Corona. Corona’s recovery rate in the country is 98.80%, active cases 0.01%, death rate 1.19%. A total of 2,20,02,12,178 doses of corona vaccine have been administered in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, 66,197 doses of corona vaccine have been administered in the country.
