PM Modi to visit Morbi, after bridge collapse

New Delhi: The death toll in the Jhoola bridge collapse in Gujarat’s Morbi rose to 190. This information was given by the Inspector General of Police, Rajkot Range, Ashok Yadav to the media.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Morbi in Gujarat tomorrow on November 1.
He also said that when the 2 missing persons are traced, the search and rescue operation will end.

As of Monday morning, the government hospital in Morbi has released a list of 99 dead, but did not mention their age.

The accident took place on Sunday evening when around 400 people were on the suspension bridge on the Machu river.

A criminal case has been registered against the contractor and manager of the bridge and the police have started investigation into the incident.
