Police Commissioner Lucknow DK Thakur leads plantation drive at Reserve Police Line
Lucknow: Following instructions issued by the Uttar Pradesh Government, Lucknow Home Department and Additional Director General of Police Headquarters Uttar Pradesh Police Headquarters Lucknow, a target of 80% tree plantation was set by 05-07- 2022.
Keeping that in mind, DK Thakur, Commissioner of Police organized tree plantation in various offices of Police Department. A large tree plantation was organized in the courtyard of Reserve Police Line Commissionerate Lucknow. Along with making other police officers/employees aware about tree plantation, the benefits of trees were also made aware of.
On this occasion, Joint Commissioner of Police, Commissionerate of Lucknow, Law and Order Piyush Mordia, Joint Commissioner of Police Crime and Headquarters Nilabja Choudhary and Deputy Commissioner of Police Headquarters Rais Akhtar along with Deputy Commissioner of Police Western S. Chinappa, Deputy Commissioner of Police Northern SM Kasim Abdi, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police East/Lines Mr. Syed Ali Abbas, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Protocol Brijesh Kumar Gautam and Assistant Commissioner of Police Crime/Lines Pankaj Srivastava, Assistant Commissioner of Police Bazarkhala . Sunil Kumar Sharma, Assistant Commissioner of Police Cantt. Dr. Archana Singh, Asst. A total of 6050 trees were planted by the Commissioner of Police, Shweta Shrivastava, Deputy Superintendent of Police Pragyan Awadhesh Kumar Choudhary, Inspector First Rakesh Kumar Sharma and Inspector-II Brijesh Kumar Singh as well as recruited constables under training in RTC.
