Police Paathshaala event a massive hit at Avadh Girls Degree College

Lucknow:  “Police Pathshala” program was organized at Avadh Girls Degree College, Lucknow under  joint aegis of Students Welfare Association, Department of Politics and Amar Ujala under Amar Ujala’s Aparajita 100 Million Smile Campaign. In this program based on the suggestions to alert the students about the dangers of cybercrime, ways to avoid it and stay alert, IPS. Vishal Vikram Singh, Cyber ​​Expert Rahul Mishra, Chief Sub Editor  Roli Khanna and College Principal Prof. Bina Rai was present.

The program was started by Dr. Preeti Awasthi, Dean of Students of the college by welcoming all the honored guests. On this occasion, all the chief guests were honored by presenting them with bouquets and mementos, after which the college principal Prof. Bina Rai presented the welcome address. .

IPS Vishal Vikram Singh, while explaining cyber crime, told the girl students that where a crime is committed with the help of mobile or computer through internet, it is called cyber crime. We need to be aware of how stalking, bullying and call spoofing are increasing these days by uploading excessive information about ourselves on social media. We can avoid this by posting very limited information about yourself and keeping the privacy settings on your account up to date.
Giving examples of crimes committed in the country, he encouraged the girl students to be alert and work with more mind than heart.

Cyber ​​expert Rahul Mishra said that today crime through mobile is increasing a lot. Whatever is in the gallery of your mobile, it can get you in trouble by leaking through the mobile applications. Do not keep any personal data or photos in mobile and check it thoroughly before downloading any application. He informed the girl students about how and where to report on cyber crime. By not coming under any kind of greed, we can avoid cyber crime happening in this virtual word.

After this, the students quenched their curiosity by establishing an interactive dialogue with the keynote speakers.

College Principal Prof Bina Rai told the students that always listen to the mind more than the heart and make your parents your friend. If there is any mistake, definitely tell them and with their help, raise your voice against the crime by taking the help of the police.
