The way more than 30000 new companies have started in Uttar Pradesh in the last three years, it shows that UP is moving very fast in terms of business. Talking about the most active companies, Uttar Pradesh is the third state where the maximum number of companies are active. While Maharashtra comes at number one in this category, Delhi is at the second position. Since the Corona period, Uttar Pradesh has left behind states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Telangana, where most active companies are there and most new companies are started here.
There are currently 1.08 lakh active companies in Uttar Pradesh. These figures are as of the end of September. On the other hand, if we talk about Maharashtra, the number of active companies here is 3 lakh while in Delhi there are 2.2 lakh. There are 1.04 lakh active companies in Karnataka and 99038 in Telangana.
In fact, since 2017, there has been a decline in the launch of new companies in Delhi. Since 2017, only 20,000 new companies have been started in Delhi, due to which there has been a decline of 20 per cent active companies since FY 2017.
Talking about the year 2017, Uttar Pradesh was at the 7th position in this matter. UP was also behind Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Gujarat. The region of Noida-Mathura also comes in the most populous state of the country, which is kept in Delhi NCR ie National Capital Region. Maharashtra continues to rank first in terms of starting new companies. In the last 3 years, 60,000 new companies have started here, which is twice the number of UP. This is the reason why Maharashtra is called the industrial capital of the country and most of the companies have their headquarters here.
