Lucknow: After losing loved ones, now the family members will not have to wander for the post-mortem report. There will be no delay in this. Integrated software system is being developed in UP to share the pain of the victims. With this, the aggrieved party can get the post-mortem report online. Officials have expressed hope that the new system will be implemented from March.
The central government has issued a new order to the states for post-mortem on August 15. In this, instructions have been given to start 24-hour post-mortem facility. The Health Department issued a letter to the CMOs of all the districts on 23 November. In this, under the new order, the post-mortem has been asked to be done at night also. Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi has issued a letter on December 10. In this, it has been mentioned to improve the post-mortem arrangements.
A Software for Medico Legal Examination and Post-mortem Report and Integrated Laboratory Reporting System will be ready. It will be linked to the NIC app of Chandigarh. This allows the report to be updated easily. A blueprint is being prepared to send doctors, police, forensic reports directly to the court through digital medium. This report will have to be updated online by the Health, Forensic, Police and Food and Drug Departments. This process will prove to be helpful in getting justice to the victims in time till the court. At the same time, doctors and police will have to update the complete report related to the case online. The details of the crime scene of the related case or incident will also have to be updated on the app. Photograph, video of the incident will also have to be put in it.
