Post Reservation List release, 18 IAS Officers transferred in U.P

Lucknow: As Uttar Pradesh Panchayat elections near, a number of transfers have been set in motion in the state. The Panchayati Raj Department recently issued a list of  district-wise reservation for a three-tier Panchayat elections. As soon as the reservation list was released, the Yogi government has transferred 18 IAS officers in an administrative reshuffle on Tuesday night.

The reshuffle has witnessed commissioners of 4 divisions and DMs of 6 districts being changed. Apart from this many other officers have been moved here and there.

The government changed the District Magistrate of Rampur, Badaun, Basti, Chitrakoot, Deoria and Kanpur Dehat. Similarly, the commissioners of Prayagraj, Meerut, Bareilly and Moradabad divisions have also been transferred.

Anjaney Kumar Singh – DM Rampur –  has been made Commissioner Moradabad Division

Surendra Singh – Secretary to Chief Minister has been sent to Meerut Division.

Sanjay Goyal, Secretary Revenue, Relief Commissioner and Secretary Basic Education has been made Commissioner Prayagraj Mandal.

Deepa Ranjan who was Additional Housing Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Council, Lucknow has been made DM Badaun.

Shubhrant Shukla, Special Secretary Chief Minister has been now given charge of DM Chitrakoot.

Ashutosh Niranjan who was DM Basti will now be DM Deoria.

Ramesh Kumar, Commissioner Prayagraj Division will become Commissioner Bareilly Division.

Ravindra Mandar, Municipal Commissioner Mathura Vrindavan will be DM Rampur.

Soumya Aggarwal, who was Managing Director, Dakshinchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Agra is now taking over as DM Basti.

Lastly Jitendra Pratap Singh  Director Mandi Council is now taking over as DM Kanpur Dehat.
