Pratapgarh all set to get Vande Bharat feel

Pratapgarh: The process of officially kickstarting Vande Bharat trains from Pratapgarh has started. MP Sangam Lal Gupta and Amethi MP Smriti Irani had jointly talked to the Union Railway Minister for its operation. Track doubling from Pratapgarh to Lucknow has been completed. Track testing has also been completed. Track doubling work is also proposed from Pratapgarh to Janghai. Track doubling work is going on from Janghai to Varanasi.

In such a situation, it is hoped that soon Belha residents will be able to travel by Vande Bharat train. More than two dozen trains operate through Pratapgarh Junction. Trains for big cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Punjab pass through it. Padmavat for Delhi and Udyog Nagri train for Mayanagari originate from here.

The journey of Tulsi Express running from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Prayagraj Junction has been extended up to Ayodhya Cantt station. Its operation has started through Pratapgarh Junction from 28th August. The track is built on the standard of train speed capacity of 138 kmph. Currently the tracks are under observation.
