Pritam from Chennai and Rohan from Delhi win the ‘UP GIS 23 Headliner Business Quiz’

 

Lucknow: In the ‘UP GIS-23 Headliner Business Quiz’ competition organized by Invest UP to test business and corporate knowledge, the team of Pritam and Rohan Khanna from Chennai has secured the first position, while Ravi and Piyush Kedia’s team secured the second position. On the first day of the two-day competition, the team of Naveen from Hyderabad and Jayakanthan from Chennai got the third place in the business quiz category.

Young business and IT professionals from many big cities of the country including Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata had come to participate in this two-day unique competition which started from Saturday at Jupiter Hall of Indira Gandhi Pratishthan.  Quiz master Kushan Patel hosted the show. After success in the preliminary stage, 08 teams were selected for the final round.

After which, according to the format of the show, everyone was asked questions related to the business world including Business Brands, Finance, Technology, Human Resource, System and Process, Business Personality.

In this interesting and tough competition of business knowledge and skills, the best performance was given by the team of Pritam and Rohan.

Both the young participants are serving in the Bottomley Company. Pritam had come from Chennai, while Rohan is serving in Delhi.

The second placed team’s Ravi is from Kolkata and is posted at Capgemini Technologies, while Piyush Kedia is working at MX Player in Mumbai.

Naveen of the third placed team is posted in Samitra Construction Company in Hyderabad and Jayakanthan is working in TCS. As per the rules of the competition, Rs 80,000 will be given to the winning team of business quiz, Rs 45,000 to the second position team and Rs 25,000 to the third position team.

The audience also got a chance to win prizes during the competition. The quiz master also answered questions from the audience and presented them with gifts like chocolates, cookies, hoodies etc. Invest UP CEO Abhishek Prakash, District Magistrate Lucknow Surya Pal Gangwar and Special Secretary to Chief Minister Kumar Harsh were also present in the programme.

Before the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit organized from February 10-12, the Yogi government has organized this special competition for students and working professionals across the country. Through this, the state government has given a chance to the meritorious youth to win prizes up to Rs 4 lakh.

Through ‘UP GIS 23 Headliner Business Quiz’, the government also wants to make a large number of children and youths a participant in the development journey of UP.

Competition will be held on Sunday for school students and open category

In continuation of the two-day competition, there will be two separate India Quiz competitions for school children and open category on Sunday. 200 teams will be selected on the basis of online screening round in this competition to be held on February 5 from 10 am to 1 pm at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. This will be followed by the semi-final and final rounds. Finally 8 teams will be selected for the final round. A team must have a minimum of two members. This quiz competition will be organized only for school and college students across the country. Team members are not necessarily from the same school.

The first team in this category will be awarded Rs 50,000, the second position team Rs 30,000 and the third position team Rs 20,000. While people of all age groups can participate in the open category. In India Quiz and India Quiz (School) to be held on the second day, questions related to General Knowledge, Current Affairs and Business World will be asked. The winning team of the open category will be awarded Rs 80,000, the second position team Rs 45,000 and the third position team Rs 25,000.

We came to know about this quiz competition two weeks back. We are coming here directly from Chennai. Like the format of the quiz, the hospitality service here was excellent. For this we thank the government here. Such competitions provide a better platform to the youth. The development of UP is important for the whole country. In recent years, a lot of work has been done on infrastructure development in UP. The Global Investors Summit will definitely be a huge success. Our best wishes
