Soraon: Any kind of negligence or apathy in redressal of public grievances is not excusable. Under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Sanjay Kumar Khatri and Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar, Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas was organized in Soraon Tehsil on Saturday.
While listening to the complaints on the occasion of Samadhan Diwas, the District Magistrate has directed the officers of the concerned departments to dispose of the complaints in a quality and time bound manner. The District Magistrate said that the disposal of public grievances is one of the top priority points of the government, so that no negligence or indifference should be taken in this.
He said that complaints should not only be disposed of with quality and timeliness, but the complainant should also be satisfied with the disposal of complaints.
A total of 325 complaints were received on this occasion, out of which 11 complaints were resolved on the spot. For the disposal of the remaining complaints, the District Magistrate has instructed the officers of all the concerned departments to receive the complaint applications related to their departments and dispose them with quality within the stipulated time frame. He cautioned that in every case, the disposal of complaints must be ensured within the stipulated time-limit. Any negligence or indifference in this will not be forgiven.
On Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas, registration of government land in ponds, negligence of tube operator and cases related to chakrod, drain and police were the main ones, on which the District Magistrate has directed the concerned officers to go on the spot and settle them. On this occasion all the concerned officers including Deputy District Magistrate Soraon Dr. Kanchan, Chief Medical Officer Mr. Nanak Sharan, DDO Mr. AK Maurya were present.
