Public representatives should have a say in development works – Keshav Prasad Maurya

Saharanpur: Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Keshav Prasad Maurya held a review meeting of the development works with the police, administrative and departmental officers of the district in the collectorate auditorium during the tour program of district Saharanpur. In compliance with orders by Deputy CM, Keshav Prasad Maurya,  urban facilities in 32 new villages were connected to Municipal Corporation, status of sugarcane price payment, status of wheat purchase, compensation for crops damaged due to rain, Ayushman Card, Mukhyamantri Arogya Yojana, license of saw machines, Development Authority, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Prime Minister and Chief Minister Awas Yojana, all development projects of central and state government, public welfare schemes, bill waiver of farmers tube wells, medical college, Point-wise review was done on availability of doctors, medicines, paramedical staff, smart city project, tap water in every house, etc. in hospitals.

The Deputy Chief Minister obtained information about providing all urban facilities by working quickly in the 32 villages added to the Municipal Corporation. He instructed the Chief Engineer to connect the city power supply as soon as possible. Adding that in order to speed up the development works, people’s representatives should not be ignored, but by inviting them in various meetings, speed up the development works by taking their valuable suggestions.

Keshav Prasad Maurya gave instructions to the Chief Medical Officer to further improve the medical facilities in the district. He said the proposal for the machines or other equipments that are required should be sent to the government immediately. Under the review in relation to the Ayushman card, he directed that the beneficiaries whose Ayushman cards have not yet been made, their cards should be made expeditiously by running a campaign and those who are not included in the eligible beneficiary list, they should be given under the Mukhyamantri Arogya Yojana. be benefited. Along with making Ayushman cards, treatment facilities should be made available to the card holders on priority.

Reviewing the payment of sugarcane farmers, directed that there should not be any problem on receipt of sugarcane payment to the farmers and 100% payment should be made within time. Instructed to take action against those who do not pay on time. Said that a report on the problems faced in wheat procurement should be prepared and sent to the government.

The problems of the farmers should be resolved on priority. Exploitation of farmers will not be tolerated. Farmers whose wheat has been damaged due to rain should also be bought according to the standards set by the government. The officers should inspect their areas along with the public representatives and assess the damages caused to the crops and provide compensation to the affected farmers. In order to solve the problems faced by FCI regarding the purchase of wheat, a meeting with the officials and public representatives should ensure that the problem is solved. Instructed the officers of the Electricity Department that the electricity dues of the tube wells of the farmers should be recovered as per the mandate.

He said in a strict tone that the electricity connection of any farmer should not be cut, nor should the consumer be exploited, but efforts should be made to find a practical solution.

He instructed that the Industry Department, Forest Department and Forest Corporation should jointly hold a meeting to consider the legal problems coming in order to maximize the licenses of saw machines in view of the progress of wood industry and employment generation in the district.

He said that the more saw machines will be installed in the district, the more industries will be promoted and the people of the district will be able to get employment and every possible effort should be made to remove the problems faced by the plywood industry in the district.

He instructed the District Supply Officer under the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana to provide ration cards to the maximum number of eligible people in the vacant units after talking to the people’s representatives. Along with this, he instructed to make 100 percent distribution of food grains in the month.

Instructed the Municipal Commissioner to continuously coordinate with the government for progress in the operation of electric buses in the Municipal Corporation area.

During the review of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban and Rural and Chief Minister’s Awas Yojana, after being aware of the progress, he instructed to provide housing and facilities prescribed by the government to the concerned as soon as possible. He instructed the officers to maintain transparency in allotment of houses and to conduct physical verification. He said that the list of houses should be made available to the public representatives.

Giving instructions, the Deputy Chief Minister said that a monthly review should be done giving information about the completion of the scheme related to drinking water to the public representatives and by forming a WhatsApp group, the public representatives should be kept informed about the progress of the project. Along with this, the general public should be made aware for water conservation. While receiving information under the Har Ghar Nal scheme, it was informed by the concerned officer that approval has been received for 705 pipe drinking water schemes, against which boring work has been completed in 341 units and 75,843 units of household drinking water connection work has been completed. Has gone.

With a view to develop the labor colony established for the labourers, the concerned officer was directed to prepare an action plan for the benefit of the laborers and to provide additional accommodation to them and send it to the government.

Maurya released all the officers from his department.Instructing related schemes to work on priority in the interest of women’s welfare and empowerment, youth employment and welfare, laborers, farmers, Divyangjan, deprived and deserving, said that Saharanpur should continue to work to keep number one in all areas.

Chief Development Officer  Vijay Kumar assured the Deputy Chief Minister that the instructions of the Deputy Chief Minister would be followed in letter and spirit.
