Bareilly: The meeting of District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) was held at Vikas Bhawan under the chairmanship of MP Santosh Kumar Gangwar. In the meeting, MP Amla Dharmendra Kashyap, Mayor Dr. Umesh Gautam, MLC Kunwar Maharaj Singh, MLA Bithri Chainpur Dr. Raghavendra Sharma, MLA Faridpur Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal, MLA Nawabganj MP Arya, Block Head, District Magistrate Shivakant Dwivedi, Chief Development Officer Jag Pravesh, District Development Officer, Project Director DRDA and all district level officers were present.
Santosh Kumar Gangwar said that whatever work has been done and is being done in the development works of the district. Information about the progress of public welfare schemes for the public must be made available to the public representatives. MP and MLAs apprised in the meeting that many roads in the city and rural areas have become potholes in the roads due to rain and in some areas the culverts have also got damaged.
He directed them to take note of the areas where roads and culverts have deteriorated and take necessary action to get such roads and culverts repaired at the earliest. The District Magistrate apprised the public representatives that an app has been made by the Chief Development Officer in the name of Disha Bareilly, through which information about the welfare schemes can be received by the departments, on which the public representatives expressed happiness.
The public representatives told the District Social Welfare Officer that the villagers should be made aware of the 30 thousand amount received under the Family Benefit Scheme by the village heads that the eligible under the Family Benefit Scheme will get the benefit if they apply within a year.
The District Magistrate directed the Project Officer, Duda that the houses have been built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna Urban, their list should be made available to the public representatives, assembly wise. He also directed that public representatives must be invited in the program of giving keys of houses to the characters by organizing a program. He also directed that the list of how many houses have been given since the plan period should also be made available. He directed the Municipal Corporation that a survey should be conducted that community toilets should be made by identifying such places where there is a labor base or community toilets have not been built near the station.
He directed the District Panchayat State Department to conduct a survey for the use of toilets provided to the villagers under the Swachh Bharat Mission Rural. He directed the Project Director DRDA that the list of buildings which are in dilapidated condition in the Block Development Offices should be made available to the Executive Engineer Public Works Department. He directed the Public Works Department to evaluate the dilapidated buildings on the basis of the list.
The District Magistrate directed all the concerned officers that the compliance report should be made available to the public representatives 10 days before the meeting of Disha.
