Public will get a new route to get rid of jam in Charbagh, complete the culvert by November urges Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia

Lucknow: Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia called for the double lane culvert being constructed while inspecting the progress of the work and instructed the officials to expedite the work.

Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia directed the city engineer Amarnath to complete the work in two months by November and start the bridge, so that the public can get rid of the jam quickly, as well as inspecting the work every day by the engineers to get quality work done.

Instructions were also given to send the progress report to the camp office. The Mayor said that due to the double lane opening of this culvert, the pressure of vehicles in Charbagh will be reduced to a great extent and the people coming from Kanpur Road will get freedom from jam.

It is to be noted that the single lane culvert going from Durgapuri metro station to Motinagar had become dilapidated, in which only one vehicle could pass at a time and the vehicle coming from the other side had to wait for the lane to become vacant. Now with the construction of a double lane culvert, the vehicle will not have to wait and vehicles coming from Kanpur Road will not go to Charbagh and go to Motinagar, Rakabganj, Aishbagh, Rajajipuram, Thakurganj, Chowk etc.

Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia along with Executive Engineer of Municipal Corporation Amarnath and other officials were also present.
