Pulse Polio Drops Administered To Kids

Gorakhpur: To save children up to five years of age from polio in Uttar Pradesh, the Pulse Polio campaign has started. This week-long campaign was launched by Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath from Gorakhpur.

A total of 3.40 crore children up to the age of five years are being administered pulse polio drops. 1.10 lakh booths have been set up to give two drops to the children. State Immunization Officer Dr. Ajay Ghai informed that all necessary preparations have been completed for the campaign.

Door-to-door teams were sent to administer polio drops to the children. All the parents have been appealed to provide pulse polio drops to their children to protect them from polio. Instructions have been given to all the districts that there should be no negligence.
