R Madhavan’s son Vedant shows swift strokes to win

Mumbai: Actor R. Madhavan’s son Vedant Madhavan has made the nation proud by winning a gold medal at the Danish Open in Copenhagen. Interestingly, Vedant had won a silver medal for India in the same competition a few days back. Madhavan shared the joy on social media. And so, the winning streak continues even today, he said. Vedant Madhavan won the gold medal at the Denmark Open. Many people including celebrities have congratulated both Madhavan and Vedant for the youngster’s achievement. Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu was among the first to congratulate. Very proud, he said. God bless them. More power to them.

Actress Keerthy Suresh also congratulated Vedant. She tweeted, “Congratulations to champion Vedant Madhavan. Your achievement is an inspiration to all!! Congratulations to the proud father Maddy Sir. This is not the first time that Vedant has won medals in swimming. Last year, the 16-year-old swimmer had won four silver medals and three bronze medals at the 47th Junior National Aquatic Championships held in Bangalore. Earlier in March last year, Vedanta had won a bronze medal in the Latvian Open Swimming Champions event.
