Mumbai: Beyond the glitzy world of entertainment, there are many stories which often go unheard because sometimes the colourful stuff one sees on screen is not the real picture. In a tell all interview TV star Rashami Desai has shed light on one such aspect. Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Rashami Desai said that she has faced body-shaming in her career. When asked if she gets affected by the body-shaming remarks, Desai said it did affect her but only till 26-27 and not anymore.
Being honest she also admitted that while the mean comments don’t affect her now, there is always some part of it that stays with her deep inside. She has said let alone workers, often friends resort o such cheap thrills.
Known for her role as Tapasya in Uttaran, Rashmi has also played Naagin. Rashami got her first break in 2004 with a film titled Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke, She was also quite a hit with her role of Shorvari Parth Bhanushali in Dil Se Dil Tak. She has cast a spell in reality TV shows like Zara Nachke Dikha, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Nach Baliye among others.
