Redressal of public issues is our priority area – Surya Pal Gangwar
Lucknow : District Magistrate Suryapal Gangwar said that redressal of public grievances at the local level is the top priority of the Uttar Pradesh government. Instructions have been given to organize Tehsil Redressal Day on first and third Saturday of every month for redressal of public grievances. Solution day is to be organized in all the tehsils of the district from 10:00 am.
The District Magistrate said that in view of the Covid epidemic, organized on 11 September 2020, guidelines have been issued to follow the Covid rules in view of security in 2023 as well. According to the mandate, if the date of the resolution day is a public holiday, the resolution day of the said date will be organized on the next working day. The presence of Chief Development Officer, Senior Superintendent of Police or Superintendent of Police, Additional District Magistrate nominated by the District Magistrate and all other district level officers is mandatory in the Samadhan Divas organized under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate.
If it is not possible for the district level officer to participate due to unavoidable reasons, then he should ensure to send the officer just below him on the Samadhan Diwas after obtaining written permission from the District Magistrate. Apart from this, the Samadhan Divas to be organized in other tehsils will be presided over by Additional District Magistrates, in which the presence of regional officers/designated officers of all departments will be mandatory.

In Mohanlalganj, on the third Saturday of March, 18 March 2023, Samadhan Diwas will be presided over by the District Magistrate in Tehsil Sadar.
