Religious fervour marks Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple foundation Day

Lucknow: The 15th Foundation Day of Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple, located on Birbal Sahni Marg, was celebrated with gaiety and pomp.

In the morning session, Hanuman ji temple was decorated with ten hearts of roses, along with new clothes, makeup and worship was organized.

Worship was done according to Shodashopachar mantras. Havan Puja was performed by Acharya Pandit Dinesh Dixit, Pandit Pawan Mishra, Pandit Dinesh Mishra.

In the mid-day session, a huge Bhandara of Pudi Vegetable Halwa was organized by the devotees of Hanuman, in which 5000 devotees took the prasad of Lord’s birthday.

In the evening, the famous Tiwari brothers recited the complete Sundarkand from Hanuman Leela.

The program of full devotional gaiety ended with the melodious hymns of famous bhajan singer Kishore Chaturvedi and his companions.

Dignitaries of Lucknow including RK Sharma, Sudhanshu Shukla, Dr. Manoj Kumar Mishra, Arvind Kumar, Vijay Tandon, Ajay Mehrotra, Rajendra Kumar Sharma were present on this occasion.
