Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath government of UP is engaged in developing Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi as a major pilgrimage tourist destination in the state. The UP government is engaged in reviving the religious pilgrimage sites of Braj which have been lost somewhere in oblivion. For this, utmost priority is being given to the renovation of pilgrimage sites.
Pilgrimage at every step
Like Kashi and Ayodhya, places of pilgrimage are found at every step in Mathura. One of the monuments that are being renovated by the Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad is the mausoleum of Taj Bibi and Raskhan. Both of them are one of such exclusive devotees of Lord Shri Krishna, who believe in Lord Shri Krishna despite being from the Muslim community. The tombs of these two Muslim devotees of Lord Shri Krishna were very old and turning into ruins. Whose renovation was done by Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad.
10 crore cost in renovation
Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad Pankaj Verma said that this place has been renovated at a cost of about 10 crores. An open theatre, film center and a food court have been built in the campus. About 500 people can sit together in this open theater built here. Shows on the life and works of Raskhan and Taj Bibi are organized in this open theatre.

Pankaj Verma told that after the renovation of Taj Bibi and Raskhan Samadhi, the number of tourists coming here is continuously increasing. Around 2000-3000 tourists visit this complex daily. By the way, there are many places to be developed in the Mathura-Vrindavan region by the Uttar Pradesh Tirth Vikas Parishad. But when the proposal for the tomb complex was sent to CM Yogi, the funds were immediately released by CM Yogi Adityanath.
