Rohit Sharma becomes second Indian batsman to score 10,000 plus runs in T 20

Pune: In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma made a big record in his name. Rohit, who played only 28 runs against Punjab Kings, has completed his 10,000 runs in T20 cricket, the special thing is that Rohit made this record by hitting a six. Rohit Sharma is only the second Indian player to do so.

Rohit Sharma scored 28 runs in 17 balls against Punjab Kings. It included 3 fours and 2 sixes. Rohit Sharma’s strike rate was 164 during this period. After getting a good start, once again Rohit Sharma could not convert it into a big score and lost his wicket on the ball of Kagiso Rabada.

However, in this short innings, Rohit Sharma has completed his 10,000 runs in T20 cricket. After Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma is the only Indian who has made this record in T20 cricket. This includes IPL, T20 International and all other matches.

Rohit Sharma has played 374 matches so far, in which he has got 10003 runs in his name. Rohit Sharma has scored 6 centuries in T20 cricket, while 69 are studded.
