RSS sticks to expansion policy over face change plan for U.P BJP

Lucknow: There is much speculation about the RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale camping in the city but if sources are to be believed then the chatter is nothng but speculation. During his four-day visit Dattatreya of the Sangh focused on expanding the organization rather than changing faces.

Reportedly the Sangh is neither keen on changing the face of the organization nor in changing CM.

The top leadership of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has already become active regarding the assembly elections to be held next year in Uttar Pradesh. Dattatreya Hosabale of the RSS had come on a four-day visit to Lucknow recently.

According to party sources, Hosabale held several meetings with the office bearers of the Sangh for four days but most of the focus was on expansion of the cabinet, speeding up the work of the organization and political equations from east to west instead of change. Meanwhile, BJP’s National Organization Minister BL Santosh is coming to Lucknow on Monday. He is to have a meeting with the leaders of the organization.

In the four-day meeting of Dattatreya, if sources of the Sangh are to be believed, it was discussed that what will be the party’s strategy post the district panchayat elections. There was also a discussion on the possible expansion to be held in the Yogi cabinet. There is broad consensus that new faces should be kept according to caste equations.

The Sangh believes that if the BJP gets success in the election of district panchayat presidents, then it will act as a booster dose before the assembly elections.

Discussions were also held on the working of ministers in the meeting. Chetan Chauhan, Vijay Kashyap were made cabinet ministers from Western UP in the Yogi cabinet but both have died from Corona. Some names of Western UP have been discussed about their replacement.

Just as there is no concrete reason to change the current state president Swatantradev Singh, in the same way the face of the CM is not going to change. The chances of such a big change in an election year are slim.

There is also news that for the first time in four years, the government is very upset about its image. CM Yogi and his team 9 officials are trying their best to build the image of the government, but the voice of opposition from BJP MLAs, MPs and ministers has spoiled the mood of the government.

It is obvious that in difficult times people catch their MLA and MP only, but they too were not able to help themselves. Because the district administration did not have oxygen and ventilators at all.
