Lucknow: The residents of Kashi thronged the cremation ground at Manikarnika Ghat to fulfill the three hundred years old tradition of Holi of pyre ashes. Holi of pyre ashes was played in the midst of blazing pyres. On this occasion, strict security arrangements were made by the Yogi government.

This Holi, which gives a feel of the depths of spirituality, seemed strange to the people who had come in the funeral procession from far away places. It is so difficult to laugh and dance in such a situation and here people are celebrating Holi by wrapping the ashes of those pyres.
