Sangam City basks in the glory of India at 75
Prayaagraj: ADG Zone and District Magistrate flagged off the Tricolor rally on a bike organized by the Civil Defense under the Tricolor program. Wreaths were laid on the statues of all the martyr memorials falling on the way of the bike rally. An oath was taken to maintain the integrity, unity of the country.
Under the Amrit Mahotsav organized on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of independence, in the order of “Independence Week” and “Har Ghar Tiranga” program to be celebrated from 11 to 17 a Tricolor rally was flagged off on bike by ADG Zone Prem Prakash and District Magistrate Sanjay Kumar Khatri. This bike rally via Kachari, Laxmi Talkies, Katra, LIU Office, Allahabad University, Anand Bhawan, Balsan Chauraha, Chandrashekhar Azad Park, Hanuman Mandir, Subhash Chowk, High Court, Khusrobagh and ended at Neem tree, Kotwali.
Wreaths were laid on all the martyr monuments of the route like Azad Park, Vivekananda Square, Subhash Square, Malviya Square, Ambedkar Square, Near High Court, Chunnan Guru etc. On this occasion, remembering the great personalities, a resolution was taken for their great works and a pledge was taken to keep the country’s integrity and unity intact. During the rally, the local citizens were also instructed to hoist the tricolor at every house and at their respective institutions during the Independence Week.
In the bike rally, Deputy Controller Narendra Sharma, Chief Warden Anil Kumar, Deputy Chief Warden Sadiq Hussain Siddiqui, Senior Assistant Deputy Controller Rakesh K. Tiwari, Rajiv Bhanot, Mahendra Saxena, Sudhir Saxena, Divisional Warden, Ramji Pandey, Lalla Kumar Aherwar, D. Divisional Warden, Raunak Gupta, Ravi Shankar Tridvedi, Staff Officer, Surendra Yadav, Markandey Rai, I.C.O., Bholeshvarnath, Post Warden-R.R., Rajni Singh, Poonam Gupta, Sector Warden, Simmi and their entire women team. More than 200 officials participated. On behalf of the traffic police administration, Pawan Kumar Pandey and Amit Kumar, Inspector of Police, Inspector Kotwali and Colonelganj contributed significantly to the traffic system and program by being present in the bike rally.
