Sarojini Nagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh releases 11 lakh fund to spruce up facilities in area
Lucknow: BJP MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh participated in the felicitation ceremony organized by Sarojini Nagar Tehsil Bar Association. Here the advocates welcomed him with open arms. During this, he laid the foundation stone of the Satsang Bhawan at the Advocate’s place entrance and the Hanuman temple in the premises in Sarojini Nagar tehsil. During this, he was asked for 10 lakh rupees from the MLA fund for the expansion of facilities in the bar chamber and 1 lakh rupees for the renovation of Hanuman temple and arrangement of 5 computers, 2 solar lights, water cooler, high mast, hand pump, submersible, bench etc. He has given his assurance to this demand.
During this, he told that a provision of 1.5 thousand crores has been made in the budget 2023-24 for the welfare of advocates. Dr. Rajeshwar Singh has also filed a PIL in the Supreme Court to make it compulsory for the youth to study law till intermediate. He said that it is very important for the youth to have basic knowledge about their rights, law, crimes and punishment.
The trend of the youth towards the study of law is also increasing among the youth. There are more than 1,400 law college-universities across the country. Now the youth is also becoming aware about the law, rights and duties of their country. In the digital age where judicial hearings are also being held online, we have to make the youth digitally literate as well. He said that advocacy is not presentation but public service.
A large number of advocates including Deputy Collector Siddharth, Tehsildar Meenakshi Dwivedi, Bar Association President Kamlesh Pratap Singh Chauhan, General Secretary Amitesh Kumar Srivastava, Senior Vice President Rajesh Kumar Sharma were present in this program.
