School run by Azam Khan’s Jauhar Trust asked to vacate premises
Rampur: The management of Rampur Public School, run by Azam Khan’s Jauhar Trust, has been asked to vacate the premises within 15 days. The lease of the school land was recently canceled and the district administration has issued a notice to the management in this regard.
Sadar Sub-Divisional Magistrate Nirankar Singh said that the manager of Johar Trust has been served a notice to vacate the Rampur Public School within two weeks. This happened when a team from the tehsil visited the Jauhar Research Institute and found that the Rampur Public School was still running there.
The building of Jauhar Shodh Sansthan has been built at a cost of about Rs 20 crore. The building of Jauhar Shodh Sansthan is built on 13000 square meters of land.
During the Samajwadi Party rule, the Jail Road building was given to Khan’s Jauhar Trust on a lease of Rs 100 per annum for 99 years. The Yogi government has now started the exercise to get it vacated.
