Second phase of e-lottery of retail shops of Uttar Pradesh Excise Department

150 of country liquor, 128 of foreign liquor, 26 of beer, 27 shops and 16 model shops were arranged
Lucknow: Sanjay R. Bhoosreddy, Additional Chief Secretary Excise Department informed that the second phase of e-lottery for the management of 238 shops and 32 model shops of 311 country liquor, 305 beer of foreign liquor and 32 model shops was held in 60 districts of the state.
It was held under the technical support and guidance of experts from state level units and district level units.
In this, arrangements were made for 150 country liquor, 128 foreign liquor, 26 beer, 27 cannabis shops and 16 model shops. The state government will get license fee of about Rs 60 crore from the management of these shops.
About 64.10 lakh bulk liter quota was arranged in 150 organized shops of country liquor. A total of 831 applications were received at the advertised shops in the second phase of e-lottery.
Due to which the state government received approximately Rs.2.64 crore as processing fee. Management of remaining 584 shops will be completed in the third phase of e-lottery.
