Lucknow: Seeing the urgent need for oxygen supply to reach every citizen, a 20 thousand litre liquid oxygen plant has been installed at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute.
The Oxygen supply will be smooth sailing at the Corona Hospital of Sanjay Gandhi PGI in the state capital. A liquid oxygen plant has been set up at the Corona Hospital.
It was inaugurated by Prof. RK Dhiman, Director, Sanjay Gandhi PGI. Till now, oxygen supply was being provided from the cylinder system in the capital Corona Hospital. It was consuming around 600 cylinders per day.
Now this liquid oxygen plant of 20,000 liters capacity, which has been set up by Linde India Limited, will be able to provide adequate amount of oxygen to the patients and will also maintain adequate stock of oxygen.
There have been multiple reports of a massve shortfall in oxygen supply in the state and the country at large. At a meeting earlier in the day the CM Yogi Adityanath has already said that 10 oxygen plants will be setup across the state of U.P. and patient safety will be a priority.
