Ayodhya: The Ayodhya Shaligram rocks have reached Ramnagari, but it is yet to be finalized whether the idol of Ram Lala will be made from it or not. Champatrai, the general secretary of the temple trust, told that experts in idol making will test it and give their opinion about its usefulness.
Champat Rai said that the priority is to make the deity of Ram Lala from Shaligram rocks only, but if there is any technical problem, stones from Odisha and Karnataka can also be used as an alternative. All the rocks being imported will be tested by the expert team within 2 months, on whose report a final decision will be taken in the trust meeting regarding the construction of Ram Lala’s idol.
The Shaligram rocks from Nepal reached Ramnagari on Wednesday night. On the underpass from NH-27 to Ayodhya, Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Temple Trust, Dr. Anil Mishra and Mahant Dinend Das welcomed both the rocks in two trucks and received them from Nepal for the construction of Ramlala’s deity. from the Gandaki river.
According to the general secretary of the temple trust, Champat Rai, both the rocks are to be worshiped by saints at Ram Sevak Puram near Karsevak Puram on Thursday. How suitable would it be for the construction of Lala’s idol? He told that as an alternative, stones are being brought from Karnataka and Odisha. While the stone of Shaligram is dark in color, the color of the stones of other provinces may be different from this, experts will also finalize them to test which stone will be possible to make the deity of Ram Lala, but priority will be given to the stones of Shaligram for two months.
Inside, the work of testing the stones will be completed. Along with the stones that have reached for the construction of Ramlala’s idol, Manoj Kumar Sah, Mayor of Janakpur, Nepal and former Home Minister of Nepal, Vimalendra Nidhi have also reached Ayodhya.
