Shankar Mahadevan’s ‘Breathless’ rendition of Hanuman Chalisa goes viral on Social Media

Mumbai: Music composer and singer Shankar Mahadevan has recited Hanuman Chalisa in ‘one breath’ as he sang the devoted song on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. This was released exclusively on Koo.

Shankar Mahadevan, who is known for his melodious voice has given numerous hits and memorable music for Bollywood films.

Shankar Mahadevan along with Ehsaan and Loy had hogged the limelight after their music album “Breathless” was broadcasted in 1998.

After 24 years of breathless, Shankar Mahadevan has recited the Hanuman Chalisa in ‘one breath’ this was posted exclusively on KOO app which is gaining a lot of applause.

The musical video was shared by Shemaroo Bhakti’s handle on the micro-blogging application, and it went viral within few minutes of its release.

The video directed by Sanjay Raj Gaurinandan for Shemaroo Bhakti features Lord Hanuman’s different avatars in the background as Shankar Mahadevan can be seen reciting Hanuman Chalisa in one breath.
