Shivpal Yadav’s olive branch to BJP gives Yadav clan jitters
Lucknow/ New Delhi: SP chief Akhilesh Yadav met his father Mulayam Singh Yadav in Delhi on Saturday amid growing distance from Praspa President Shivpal Yadav. On the other hand, Shivpal Yadav’s following PM Narendra Modi on Twitter is giving further impetus to the discussions about him joining the BJP.
SP Patron Mulayam Singh and Akhilesh were accompanied by SP MLA Ashu Malik. He has also shared the photo of this meeting. It is believed that there was a discussion between the two regarding Shivpal Yadav. Akhilesh has taken guidance from father Mulayam as to how the matter should be resolved.
Meanwhile, Shivpal Singh Yadav again gave a new political message on Saturday. He expressed his growing closeness to the BJP by following Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma on Twitter. He is also preparing to go to Ayodhya soon and visit Ramjanmabhoomi.
After Shivpal Yadav’s meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the round of speculation has already started in the political circles. Meanwhile, through micro-blogging site Twitter and Koo, he also fueled these speculations. Shivpal Yadav follows a total of 12 people on Twitter, while the number of followers is more than eight lakhs.
He is President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister’s Office, Chief Minister’s Office and Progressive Samajwadi Party, besides SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma, his son Aditya Yadav and Buddhist religious leader Dalai. Earlier, there were reports of his displeasure with his nephew and SP President Akhilesh Yadav. Angered by not being invited to the meeting of SP MLAs, he went to Etawah. Though SP later called him to a meeting of MLAs of allies, he did not go. His displeasure started coming to the fore only after the assembly election results were out. SP did not give even a single seat to his party in the election, Shivpal himself had to contest on SP ticket.
