Pratapgarh; During the review of the Revenue Department on Saturday, Pratapgarh DM Prakash Chandra Srivastava was reprimanded by the Chief Minister for his poor working style, after which he was removed and put on waiting list. Siddharthnagar DM Sanjeev Ranjan has been sent to Pratapgarh in his place.
A government spokesperson said that the top and bottom 10 rankings of Jansunwai Samadhan System, IGRS and CM Helpline for the month of August were presented before the Chief Minister.
This list has been prepared on the basis of detailed evaluation of the works of District Magistrates, Police Commissioners, SSPs and SPs as well as Tehsils of all the districts of the state.
The Chief Minister has given strict instructions to the officers performing poorly in the list and advised them to improve their functioning.
The Chief Minister said that after a month, everyone’s work will be reviewed again, in which accountability of senior officers of poorly performing districts will be fixed. He said that if officers become effective for the public, their tenure will also become memorable.
Yogi Adityanath has instructed the senior officials of all the poorly performing districts to resolve the problems by holding continuous public hearings within a month.
The top 10 best performing District Magistrates in the work of IGRS and CM Helpline include Amethi, Kannauj, Shravasti, Shahjahanpur, Sonbhadra, Ghaziabad, Mahoba, Mirzapur, Hapur and Bhadohi.
At the same time, the performance of the District Magistrates of Baghpat, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Agra, Siddharthnagar, Saharanpur, Rampur and Moradabad has been described as the worst.
Similarly, the best performing Police Commissioners, SSP and SP are Aligarh, Shravasti, Sonbhadra, Hamirpur, Kushinagar, Farrukhabad, Kasganj, Chitrakoot, Bhadohi and Hathras respectively.
Similarly, the poor performers include police officers from Bareilly, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Fatehpur, Jhansi, Ayodhya, Etah, Hapur, Azamgarh and Sant Kabir Nagar.
