Single Table Clearance Day to help clear backlog in LDA
Lucknow: Now the disposal of files and applications will be done within a week in the Lucknow Development Authority. For this, ‘Single Table Clearance Day’ will be organized on every Saturday of the week. In order to avoid delay in the work of general public and they do not have to visit the authority unnecessarily, Dr. Indramani Tripathi, Vice Chairman of the Authority has issued this order. This order will be applicable in all the sections of the authority.
Vice Chairman Dr. Indramani Tripathi said that in the past, surprise inspection of various sections was done by him, in which files were found pending in some sections.
Apart from this, during public relations, complaints were often being made by some people that their work was being delayed unnecessarily, due to which they had to visit the authority again and again. To eliminate this type of problem, ‘Single Table Clearance Day’ is being started in the authority, which will be organized every Saturday of the week from 12 noon to 4 pm in Masood Hall.
With this, timely action will be ensured on the cases related to public interest guarantee including mutation, free-hold and applications received during public relations.
The list of files will be ready a day before
The Vice-Chairman told that under ‘Single Table Clearance Day’, all the Section Heads will present all the pending files of their table before them and take action for their disposal on the spot. For this process to be 100 percent implemented, Additional Secretary Gyanendra Verma has been entrusted with the responsibility that he will prepare the list of pending files at each table by Friday evening. All the files mentioned in the list will be disposed of on ‘Single Table Clearance Day’.
Action will be taken if the list of pending files is hidden
The Vice-Chairman said that for strict compliance of this system, he would conduct surprise inspections of the sections from time to time. In this, if it is found that other than the list made available for ‘Single Table Clearance Day’, any other file is pending on the table, then punitive action will be taken against the concerned. The Vice President said that all the Section Heads along with their staff will be present with the pending files on ‘Single Table Clearance Day’ to get the tasks executed. Even after this, if delay is found in disposal of files, disciplinary action will be taken against the concerned officer/employee.
