SMS under the aegis of IIT Roorkee and Maharishi University establishes nodal center for Virtual-Lab 

Lucknow: On 20-21 September 2022, another reputed Virtual-Lab Center was established at School of Management Sciences, Lucknow. SMS under the aegis of IIT Roorkee and Maharishi University. Virtual-Lab became the nodal center and a 2-day workshop was also organized by IIT Roorkee, in which it was formally inaugurated on the first day by the Secretary and CEO of the Institute,  Sharad Singh;  who called it an  addition of a new milestone in the history of Director Prof. Manoj Mahrotra, in his statement, highlighted its need in the New Education Policy-2022.

Director General (Technical), Prof. Bharat Raj Singh, SMS,  Chetan Dhiman and Jasbir Singh, Research Associates of IIT Roorkee and Dr. Gaurav Dixit of Maharishi University were present.

They congratulated the founders on the opening of the establishment of the nodal center of Virtual-Lab and gave special information on how Virtual-Lab would be useful to the students and told that they can benefit from it from their home and hostel or any place.

On this occasion, Chief General Manager, Dr. Jagdish Singh, and Co-Director, Prof. Dharmendra Singh; Dean – Students Welfare, Dean – Engineering, Head of Department,  Pankaj Yadav, Dr. Asha Kulshrestha, Dr. Amarjit Singh, Amod Pandey, Diploma Principal, and students participated actively by being present.

On the first day of the workshop, all the different science and technical subject students got information about the operation of the lab and the methods of extracting the necessary results from it. On the second day also, the students in the first shift and the teachers in the second shift also attended the workshop and got in-depth information.

In the end, Dr. Hemant Kumar Singh, Dean-Engineering, thanked the trainers who came and the teachers and students present.
