Social Welfare Department and DICCI sign MoU worth 500 crores ahead of Global Investor Summit
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation Limited under the aegis of Social Welfare Department Development Corporation, Tribal Development Department and DICCI in Gemti Nagar, Lucknow under the broader plan for Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Meet – 2023 signed an MoU with investors and entrepreneurs.
Welcoming the entrepreneurs and investors from the regions, Social Welfare Minister Asim Arun inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.
Social Welfare Minister Asim Arun was present as the chief guest in the program. He said that UP’s set a target of 1 trillion and India’s set a target of 5 trillion economy.
The contribution of investors is important. He told that initially in the said event MoU with 150 investors was signed for investment of about Rs.500 cr, while in the coming days an investment of more than one thousand crore rupees
is a possibility.
Arun said that the state government and entrepreneurs are in one opinion and in one direction working together and moving forward with positive energy. The era of unity and inclusive development will soon be visible. Lalji Nirmal, President of Uttar Pradesh Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation Limited said that Prime Minister Scheduled Caste Abhyudaya Yojana through PM (Ajay) along with providing employment to the people of the state, big entrepreneurs are also being made, our entrepreneurs are able to invest today.
Principal Secretary, Industrial Development, Anil Sagar said that the state government along with making the state crime-free, infrastructure like highways, expressways, rail making the traffic smooth, a good environment has been developed for investment.
Principal Secretary, Social Welfare Dr. Hari Om said that Uttar Pradesh government’s transparent policies, reforms and UP as India’s most preferred investment destination through strong law and order is emerging and attracting investment sector.
