Solar powered mini luxury cruise another feather in Kashi’s cap
Varanasi: It is the result of the vision and planning of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that the development model of Kashi remains a topic of discussion across the country.
For the first time in the country, ropeway service for public transport is to be started in Varanasi. Apart from this, work has started on the plan to operate a solar powered mini luxury cruise in Kashi for the first time in the country. This will be specially unique for those visitors who want to visit Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
A big proposal is going to come soon in the exercise to reduce pollution in Ganga. Vikas Malviya, director of Alaknanda Cruise Line Private Limited, which is already operating in Varanasi, said that soon there is a plan to bring a solar energy-powered mini luxury cruise in the Ganges, which will only visit Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
Vikas Malviya said that a proposal to operate two mini luxury cruises from Namo Ghat and Sant Ravidas Ghat is being sent to the government. As soon as the approval is received, the operation of the cruise will be started for the visitors.
In order to make Kashi pollution-free, electric buses are already running on the road for CNG boats and public transport in the Ganges. There is also going to be a ropeway for public transport. Now solar powered mini luxury cruise will also be very helpful in environmental protection.
Running at a speed of fifteen to twenty kilometers per hour, about 25 to 30 people will be able to board this cruise at a time. The entire cruise will be air conditioned. In this, along with cafeteria and bio toilet, international standards of safety will be followed.
