Specially curated throne to seat Ramlala in Ayodhya temple

Ayodhya: The construction work of Ram temple is going on at a fast pace in Ramnagari. Ramlala’s life will be consecrated in the temple on 22 January. The construction of the sanctum sanctorum of the temple has been completed. Meanwhile, it has come to light that Ramlala will sit on an eight feet high throne made of stone, marble and gold plates.

A member of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust said that this throne is being made by the artisans of Rajasthan, which will reach Ayodhya by December 15. This throne will be eight feet high and four feet wide.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust member Anil Mishra said, the construction work of the sanctum sanctorum of the temple has also been completed. He said that the ground floor of Ram temple has to be completed by December 15 while 80 percent work of the first floor has been completed.

According to PTI, Anil Mishra said, 17 pillars have been installed on the first floor and only two pillars are left to be installed. The ceiling of the first floor is expected to be ready by December 15. He informed that the flooring work of Parikrama Marg has also been completed and the work of laying marble on the floor of Griha Mandap is going on.

Gold and silver items have been donated

Devotees have donated large quantities of gold and silver items for the Ram temple. Mishra said, the gold and silver items donated by the devotees will be melted as it is difficult to store them. He told that the melting work will be done under the guidance of a reputed institution.
