Sprinter Mo Farah gets beaten by lesser known club racer, 26-year-old Elise Krauss

London: Four-time Olympic champion Mo Farah, who entered the first competition eleven months later, finished second, trailing 26-year-old Elise Krauss, a club racer. Ellis is not among Britain’s elite athletes.

Farah, 39, clocked 28 minutes and 44 seconds in the Vitality London 10km race. Ellis’s time was two seconds better than his. Prior to this, Farah, the best athlete in track events in British Olympic history, last competed in June 2021.

Farah’s illustrious career is now believed to be on the slopes. He didn’t even qualify for the Tokyo Olympics. He said that at the age of 39, he is no longer young. He has indicated that he wants to represent the country for the last time at the World Championships, Commonwealth Games and European Championships this year.

Even before the race, he said that if you are not performing at the top level then there is no point in running.

Mo Farah said – The race was very difficult and Ellis did well. You have to see where you are. See how much your body is supporting. I am no longer young.
