Lucknow: The youth coming to Lucknow, the capital of U.P., will no longer have to spend much money on their stay. Now the state government will provide youth hostels for the youth coming to Lucknow from the country and the state. These hostels will be available for accommodation near Charbagh Railway Station at very discounted rates. In this Youth Hostel, youth will be able to take a double bedroom of Rs 600 from a bed of Rs 100 at their convenience. In addition, the hostel canteen will also have the facility of Rs.75/- per meal and Rs.35/- per person for breakfast.
Residential facility will be available at concessional rates for students and youth
Additional Chief Secretary, Youth Welfare, Dr. Navneet Sehgal gave this information. He said that Uttar Pradesh has rich cultural heritage and tourist places. Youth from different cities of the country and the state come to Lucknow for the purpose of getting acquainted with them or for any other work. They have to face many inconveniences despite spending a lot of money on their stay.
Therefore, the residential facilities will be available at concessional rates for the students and youth coming on tour by the government. Youth Hostels are available at Anand Nagar, Barha Road, Alambagh, Lucknow, South of Charbagh Railway Station. Let us inform you that, these youth hostels are built on the land provided by the Department of Youth Welfare and Prantiya Rakshak Dal. This youth hostel has been built with the funding of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
All dormitories and rooms have attached bathrooms
This youth hostel has a total of 60 beds, of which there are 04 dormitories 10-10 beds, 02 dormitories 08-08 beds, and 02 double bedrooms. All dormitories and rooms have attached bathrooms. 100 per bed is available in dormitories for students below 35 years of age. There is a facility of Rs 150 per bed for persons above 35 years of age. Apart from this, the rate of 600 rupees is fixed for all for a double bedroom. Also, this youth hostel has 02 meeting rooms, whose per day fee is Rs 1200 per meeting room.
As well as open space is also available in the hostel premises
Apart from this, the youth hostel can be used for educational, vocational, and social useful discussions, seminars, training, etc. There is a kitchen-cum-dining hall, which charges Rs 2000/- per day. The canteen here offers food at Rs 75/- per diet and breakfast at Rs 35/- per person. As well as open space is also available in the hostel premises, the rent of which is Rs 5000/- per day. Other programs including cultural programs can also be organized.
