State governments and religious groups looking for land to build guest houses and ashrams in Ayodhya: CM Yogi

Lucknow: According to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, several state governments and religious organisations are asking for property near Ayodhya to erect structures, ashrams, and guest homes.

This was mentioned by him as he listened to a presentation on the UP Township Policy-2023 by the Housing and Urban Planning Department at Lok Bhawan.

“Many state governments and religious organisations are asking for property to erect their structures, ashrams, and guest rooms since a huge temple is being built in Ayodhay. The land allocation procedure has to be sped up, and it should be remembered that the land needs improved connection “Adityanath remarked.

According to an official release, the chief minister said that urbanisation has expanded over the previous six years and should be promoted in light of future demands.

“Previous policies should be examined, and their inadequacies should be kept in mind before a new township policy,” he said.

According to Adityanath, new townships should provide all necessary amenities, such as places to live, places to play, green space, places to save water, places to shop, places to park, and police stations.

With respect to solid waste disposal, he noted that the township’s design should achieve compliance with “Net Zero Waste,” noting that cultural and historical legacy should be tied to the city’s growth.

He continued by saying that the concept of “carbon neutrality” should be the foundation for municipal development.
