Lucknow: Brajesh Pathak, Minister of Legislative and Justice, Rural Engineering, Uttar Pradesh instructed the officials of the Municipal Corporation to complete all the projects related to the development of the Central Legislative Assembly area located in Lucknow on priority.
He also directed that the work related to development, which has been completed, should be done at the earliest by fixing the date. The Minister of Legislative and Justice was holding a review meeting with the officials of the Municipal Corporation on the development related works of the Central Legislative Assembly area in his office room number-91.
While directing the officers, he said that special attention should be paid to quality and timeliness in the works being done. There should not be any indifference in this. He said that there should not be any shortcoming in the all-round development of the Central Vidhan Sabha constituency.
Pathak said that Lucknow being the capital of the state, the movement of people from different areas of the state continues. The state government is committed to provide basic facilities to the common man. For this all development work should be done as per the standard. He asked the officials of the Municipal Corporation to ensure a permanent solution to the problem of waterlogging during monsoon.
He said that Lucknow has got the status of Smart City. For this, the development plans which are under construction in the central assembly segment should be completed on time. The Legislative and Justice Minister told the officials that there is a dire need of modern accessible toilets on the main road in Hazratganj and Bhainsakund. Work should be started immediately after marking a place for one modern accessible toilet at both those places. So that the general public can get convenience. He said that the pending works should be completed in time.
The Legislative and Justice Minister asked the officials to get the sewer line and drain cleaned regularly during the rainy season. Manhole lids should not be open. He has instructed the officials that rain water should not be collected so that the common citizens do not face any kind of difficulties. Cleaning of drains and drains should also be done.
Municipal Commissioner Ajay Kumar Dwivedi, Chief Engineer Municipal Corporation Manish Verma, Executive Engineer Amar Nath and senior departmental officers were present in this meeting.
